On Saturday, October 20, 2007, with a formal launch and dedication,
Imagine It! Express brought the first of many groups of children to the Museum,
helping to eliminate the transportation barrier that schools, groups and families often face.
It offers a way to the Museum for those who otherwise may have access to reliable, safe, and affordable transportation.
Imagine It! Express was donated to the Museum by Elizabeth Klump, Imagine It! Board Member, and her husband Michael Klump.
It will be fueled by environmentally-friendly bio-diesel fuel produced from the waste cooking oil
supplied through a partnership between Chick-fil-A at Peachtree Center and the Southern Alliance for Clean Energy.
Design and printing of the bus wrap were generously discounted by Formetco.
Imagine It! Express is a 42-passenger bus which can accommodate no more than 35 children,
plus their required number of adult chaperones. Imagine It! Express provides wheelchair access for up to two additional riders.
