my membership card, can I come as often as I’d like?
Yes. You can visit the Museum as often as you’d like. We encourage
you to enjoy creative, imaginative play with your children every
day. Make reservations as often as possible by calling (404)
527-3693.
Why do members
need tickets to enter the Museum?
Tickets allow us to provide you and your family with the safest
environment possible by tracking the number of people who enter the
Museum.
I forgot my
membership card, can I still get in?
Yes, but as always, we will ask you to show a valid ID that matches
the name listed on your membership card.
How many children does a membership include?
Two of Us
memberships include one named child, and all other memberships include
all household children.
How many adults does a membership include?
Two of Us
memberships include one named adult, and all other memberships include
two named adults. You can add on up to two adult members to all other
memberships for $20 each.
What if my nanny
changes or I’d like to change out the name of an adult listed on my
card?
No problem. We ask that the primary card holder call the Membership
Line at (404) 527-5910 and for a $15 fee we can change the name listed
and reprint a new membership card for you.
Can I loan my
membership card to a family member or friend?
Your membership is for the benefit of you and your household only. For
your convenience, we now offer the option to add an unnamed guest to
your membership. During their visit, the unnamed guest must be
accompanied by a named adult member.
What does
“household” mean?
Memberships are for a single household, which means that only those
adults and children who reside at the address on the membership can be
listed.
What does “child” mean?
Anyone under the age of eighteen.
I lost my guest passes,
can I get new ones?
Guest passes are included with your Welcome Packet from the Museum.
They are one-time use only and cannot be replaced if lost. Please
contact the Membership Line at (404) 527-5910 if you have not received
your Welcome Packet.
Can I get a membership
with my friend/sister/neighbor?
No. Each membership can be used by one household only.
Are memberships
tax-deductible?
All memberships are now partially tax-deductible to the extent the law
allows. Each membership’s tax deductibility is as follows:
Two of Us,
$67;
Family
and
Grandparent,
$109;
Museum Friend,
$210; and
Museum Builder,
$420. Your membership acknowledgement letter will confirm your
tax-deductible amount and serves as a receipt for tax purposes.
What is your security
policy?
Your family’s safety and security are our highest priorities. Adults
must be accompanied by a child on the exhibit floor, and children must
be accompanied by an adult on the exhibit floor. Security cameras,
electronic access controls, and security personnel are in place at all
times. Look for the red shirt — Visitor Services staff are always here
to assist you. No security can take the place of adult supervision.
Remember to have fun with and supervise your children.
I am interested in a
membership but have never visited Imagine It! before. What do you
suggest?
We invite you to try us out and purchase admission tickets to the
Museum so you can determine for yourself if we are right for your
family. If you choose to become a member, we will credit your
admission ticket price toward a new membership, as long as it is on
the same day as your visit. We can credit the number of adult and
children tickets that apply to the level of membership you are
purchasing. For example, 1 adult and 1 child
ticket can be credited toward a
Two of Us
membership. A maximum of 2 adult tickets and 4 children tickets can be
applied toward any other memberships. We allow 1 additional ticket to
be credited if you choose add-ons for your membership.

Why did you change your
membership levels?
In response to members’ comments and suggestions, we have designed our
new membership levels to better accommodate the various sizes of
modern families.
How can I renew my
membership?
We offer several ways to renew your membership. You can renew online
at
www.imagineit-cma.org, via mail, by phone at (404) 527-5910, or on
your next visit to the Museum.
Will I still have a store
discount?
No. This benefit is no longer offered at any of the membership levels.
However, we have listened to your suggestions and are confident that
the benefits we now offer are much better.
Will I still receive
discounts on additional tickets?
No. Instead, each membership level comes with at least 1 one-time use
guest pass to the Museum to give to anyone you wish. You can also add
up to 2 members and 1 unnamed guest to any membership for only $20 per
person (Two
of Us
memberships allow only 1 member or guest add-on).
Last year I shared a
membership with my sister and her children, how do I renew it?
Memberships are one per household and cannot be shared. Call the
Membership Line at (404) 527-5910 and we’ll help you select the best
membership level for your household.
