Welcome to Imagine It! The Children’s Museum
of Atlanta. The moment you and your kids enter, you’re transported
to a world where young children and grown-ups can touch, pull, open, close,
drop, spin, drive, splash, draw, dig, paint, set-up, pull-out, push-in,
poke and twist.
Imagine It! The Children’s Museum of Atlanta is a high-energy place where the line between learning and fun is invisible. You’ll enter
a special environment with larger-than-life, out-of-the-ordinary exhibits, designed for children from birth to eight years of age, that encourage
you and your children to explore, discover and learn about yourselves, each other and the world we live in.
Fundamentally Food celebrates food – as sustenance, as art, as culture,
as commerce. In Leaping Into Learning, toddlers and preschoolers can explore
a friendly forest, splash in a stream and get a fish’s-eye view of
the world. Let Your Creativity Flow invites kids to paint on the walls,
make instruments that they can play, try dances from around the world and
create sand sculptures. In the Tools For Solutions area, kids move dozens
of balls through tubes by working alone or with others, explore a garden
from "underground", care for the

plants and build their own patio. Each Learning Zone
features a special In the Spotlight area – a place where performers
and experts lead visitors in hands-on activities. And, in the Town Square,
there is always something happening - from performances to activities, discussions
or the perfect place to rest for a moment.
Throughout the facility, fun and friendly
staff members encourage kids to work together and help them along. By the
end of your visit, your kids will help you see new places, invent stories,
show you what’s happening, how they imagine things are and how they
